It was well researched, and I really liked that neither culture was deemed an “enemy”, although as the conquerors the Roman culture definitely had the upper hand. It showed that, while a culture might have its good and bad actors and aspects, the people who they comprise of are just that, people. Trying to make things work in whatever manner available to them.
